Currently, site clearance work on the entire route is 98% complete, with only a small area remaining in An Lao district and Duong Kinh district. Chairman Duong Anh Dien highly appreciated the efforts of localities and assigned sectors. At the same time, localities are requested to continue urgently implementing and completing site clearance in June 2012. For some remaining land areas due to people refusing to relocate, An Lao and Duong Kinh districts are requested to be ready with enforcement plans and made public to the people, for the overall success of the entire project. During implementation, it is necessary to firmly adhere to the law and create maximum conditions for people. For residential buildings, irrigation systems, and schools affected by pile foundation construction, the investor is required to coordinate closely with the contractor, assess the level of damage, and provide adequate compensation. The investor and localities coordinate closely to immediately resolve problems in site clearance as well as during the construction process. By June 30, site clearance must be completed and handed over to the construction investor.
According to VIDIFI's assessment, among the 4 localities where the project passes through, Hai Phong is the locality that best performs site clearance work for the Hanoi-Hai Phong expressway project. The areas that have not been cleared are the construction areas of critical roads, service roads for contractors to gather and transport materials and 2 locations in the intersection area of National Highway 10 (in An Lao district) and the intersection of Road 353 (in Duong Kinh district)./.
