VIDIFI leaders inspected the progress of construction and partial surface treatment of Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway, section Km57+000 to Km61+000
On May 21, the Working Group of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Infrastructure Development and Financial Investment Corporation (VIDIFI) directly inspected the construction progress and quality of the site for the item "Local treatment of road surface due to uneven subsidence from Km57+000 to Km61+000" on the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway route.
The delegation was led by Mr. Tran Anh Tu - General Director, Mr. Pham Viet Son - Deputy General Director and representatives of specialized departments of the Corporation. Working with the delegation at the construction site were the Board of Directors, engineers and workers of VIDIFI Road Construction and Maintenance Enterprise - the unit directly responsible for the construction of this item.

At the scene, the Working Group directly inspected the construction sites, checked the preparation of materials, equipment and organizational plans on the construction site. The project will begin construction on May 21, 2026 and is expected to be completed and put into operation on October 12, 2026.
Appreciating the importance of the project, the Corporation's Board of Directors has provided close technical guidance. Previously, in April 2026, VIDIFI officially approved the project design documents with strict compliance with highway technical standards.
The notable highlight thoroughly inspected by the Working Group is the application of a 4cm-thick drainage layer of asphalt concrete (BTN) mixture. This advanced material solution has a dual effect: it can both withstand heavy loads from vehicles and also possess extremely effective road surface drainage thanks to its high porosity. This will help eliminate surface water stagnation, increase road grip and ensure absolute safety for vehicles when moving at high speed, especially in stormy weather conditions.
Directly directing at the construction site, General Director Tran Anh Tu acknowledged the urgent working spirit of VIDIFI Road Construction and Maintenance Enterprise in the first days of implementation. At the same time, the General Director also especially emphasized and requested the construction unit:
- Strictly control the quality of plastic mat materials and processes to maximize the effectiveness of the drainage hollow asphalt layer.
- In particular, construction work must be carried out synchronously with reasonable and scientific traffic regulation and flow plans, and full installation of signage systems and remote warning lights to ensure absolute safety for construction workers and not greatly affect the circulation of vehicles on the route.
- Maximize human resources, machinery and equipment, organize scientific construction, closely follow approved technical standards, take advantage of favorable weather conditions to speed up progress, and commit to completing the project on time.
