VIDIFI consolidates senior personnel: Announcing the Decision to elect Chairman of the Board of Directors for the 2023-2028 term and appoint Party Secretary

On April 16, at the Corporation's headquarters, Vietnam Infrastructure Development and Financial Investment Corporation (VIDIFI) held a conference to announce the Resolution of the Board of Directors (BOD) of VIDIFI on electing the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the 2023-2028 term, and at the same time handing over the Decision of the Party Committee of Vietnam Development Bank (VDB) on appointing personnel to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Party Secretary. VIDIFI committee for the term 2025–2030. The event took place in the context that the Corporation is entering a new phase of development with many important strategic goals, affirming the close direction and trust of VDB shareholders in the VIDIFI leadership team.

Overview of the Conference

The conference was attended by senior leaders of VDB and VIDIFI. On VDB's side, the Conference was honored to welcome comrade Le Van Hoan - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of VDB's Board of Directors; Comrade Nguyen Gia The - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; along with members of the Standing Committee, members of the Board of Directors and leaders of VDB's professional departments. On VIDIFI's side, the Conference had the presence of comrade Bui Van Thong - Member of the VDB Party Executive Committee, Deputy General Director of VDB, new Chairman of the Board of Directors of VIDIFI; Comrade Tran Anh Tu - Member of the VDB Party Executive Committee, General Director of VIDIFI, and all comrades in the VIDIFI Party Executive Committee, Leaders of the Supervisory Board, Board of General Directors and Leaders of units.

At the Conference, the Chief of Office of the VIDIFI Board of Directors announced the Decision of the VIDIFI Board of Directors on electing Mr. Bui Van Thong (management representative of 50% of VDB's capital contribution at VIDIFI), a member of the VIDIFI Board of Directors for the 2023 - 2028 term, to hold the position of Chairman of the VIDIFI Board of Directors for the 2023 - 2028 term.

Next, comrade Dam Xuan Dung - Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the VDB Party Committee, solemnly announced the Decision of the VDB Party Committee on appointing personnel to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the VIDIFI Party Committee for the 2025–2030 term.

Giving instructions and assigning tasks at the Conference, Mr. Le Van Hoan emphasized the need for Mr. Bui Van Thong, in his new leadership role, to ensure continuity and stability in operating VIDIFI's operations, while gradually improving the efficiency and speed of work processing, meeting the increasing requirements of VIDIFI in the new development period.

For the professional departments at VDB headquarters, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of VDB also requested active attention, coordination, sharing, and timely support to remove difficulties and create the most favorable conditions for VIDIFI to complete its proposed strategic tasks.
