The Hanoi-Hai Phong expressway project has a total investment of up to 46,900 billion VND, the entire route has a length of 105.5km with the starting point located on Ring Road 3 of Hanoi (1,025km from the Thanh Tri bridge abutment in Thach Ban ward, Long Bien district, Hanoi) passing through the provinces and cities of Hanoi (6km), Hung Yen (26.5km), Hai Duong (40), Hai Phong (33km), and the end point of the road is Dinh Vu dam (in Hai An district, Hai Phong).The designed car speed is 120km/h, the road surface is 33 m wide with 6 lanes, 2 emergency stopping lanes, a median strip, green strips on both sides of the road, and collector roads in necessary locations.
