Handing over the site of the Hanoi-Hai Phong expressway project
On November 19, the People's Committee of Gia Lam district organized the handover of the site to serve the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway construction project (section through Gia Lam district).
Representative of Gia Lam District Land Fund Development Center said: The total area of land recovered in phase I of the project is 560,000m2, equivalent to 5.6km of road, involving 1,260 households and 7 organizations. All 100% of the area of phase I has been handed over by the District Land Fund Development Center to the investor, Vietnam Infrastructure Development and Financial Investment Corporation - VIDIFI to implement the project (the handover process is divided into 6 phases, from May 2009 to the end of February 2012). The total area of land recovered in phase II is about 221,000 square meters, involving 728 households and 4 organizations. By November 19 (after organizing enforcement against the last 5 households), the district had completed site clearance for this entire area to hand over to the investor.
Immediately after receiving the site, VIDIFI representatives affirmed that they will begin construction immediately to strive to complete and put into operation the entire Hanoi-Hai Phong expressway project (105km long, including 6 lanes) in early 2015 under the direction of the Government and Ministry of Transport.
