An Lao district implements a plan to enforce land acquisition for the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway project

An Lao district has just issued Decision No. 649 on the establishment of a Steering Committee to organize the enforcement of dismantling of houses, construction works, structures, trees and crops, land recovery, and protection of contractors to implement the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway project in Quang Trung commune.

The Steering Committee is responsible for developing and implementing a plan to organize forced land recovery for 22 households in Cau Dong village, Quang Trung commune who do not receive site clearance compensation. The Steering Committee assigns tasks to organize enforcement, establishing 5 working groups to serve enforcement work such as: Steering group and ensuring security and order; The team prepares enforcement records; enforcement steering and implementation team; advocacy team and service team. According to the plan, the enforcement will take place on June 30, 2012.

The Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway section passing through An Lao district has a length of 13.6 km, a width subject to clearance of 100m, a total area subject to clearance inventory of nearly 2 million m2, passing through 6 communes including: Quang Trung, Quoc Tuan, Tan Vien, An Thang, My Duc and An Thai. The number of households with land recovered is 3,441. Residential land area is 12,463m2 with 576 households. The number of graves that had to be relocated was 1,138, and the number of resettled households was 585 households. To date, the district has basically completed site clearance. Currently, in Quang Trung commune, there are still 22 households that do not receive site clearance compensation, affecting the project progress. According to the city's direction, by June 30, the clean site must be handed over to the contractor./.
