VIDIFI successfully organized the grassroots trade union congress for the 2010-2012 term
On March 29, 2010, in Hanoi, the grassroots Trade Union of Vietnam Infrastructure Development and Financial Investment Corporation (VIDIFI) solemnly organized the Trade Union Congress for the 2010 - 2012 term and summarized trade union activities for the 2008 - 2010 term.
The Congress is an important political event to comprehensively evaluate all aspects of activities in the past term, at the same time set directions, goals and elect a new Executive Committee capable of leading the labor movement of workers and civil servants of the Corporation in the next period.
Attending the congress were comrades Dao Van Chien - Member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Trade Union of Vietnam Development Bank (VDB), Secretary of the Party Committee, General Director of VIDIFI Corporation; Comrade Nguyen Duc Minh - Member of the Standing Committee of VDB Trade Union, Party Committee member, Deputy General Director of VIDIFI Corporation.
Attending the congress were comrades Dao Van Chien - Member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Trade Union of Vietnam Development Bank (VDB), Secretary of the Party Committee, General Director of VIDIFI Corporation; Comrade Nguyen Duc Minh - Member of the Standing Committee of VDB Trade Union, Party Committee member, Deputy General Director of VIDIFI Corporation.
Also attending were comrades in the Corporation's Board of Directors; Representative of the Trade Union of the Vietnam Development Bank; Leaders of Boards, divisions, affiliated units, member companies and delegates representing the divisional Trade Union at National Highway 5, Tien Cuu, Toll Stations No. 1 and 2.
Evaluate the results of the 2008 - 2010 term
On behalf of the Presidium, VIDIFI Trade Union presented a report summarizing its activities for the 2008 - 2010 term. During this period, the grassroots Trade Union performed well its role as a bridge between workers and employers, closely following the resolutions of the Party Committee and the business plan of the Corporation.
The report also frankly acknowledges the shortcomings and limitations and draws lessons learned in the movement's work. From there, build a system of specific solutions to improve the spiritual and material life of union members and successfully implement the goals of the new term.
Direction from the Board of Directors
Speaking at the Congress, comrade Dao Van Chien acknowledged and praised the achievements that VIDIFI Trade Union has achieved. Comrade emphasized:
"In the coming term, with the huge amount of political and economic tasks of the Corporation, each trade union member needs to make outstanding efforts to successfully complete the assigned targets. The union must truly be a strong organization, closely following its professional tasks and paying special attention to the thoughts and aspirations of employees."
Introducing the Executive Committee for the term 2010 - 2012
With a high spirit of democracy and responsibility, the Congress conducted the election of the VIDIFI Grassroots Trade Union Executive Committee for the 2010 - 2012 term, including comrades with enthusiasm, qualifications and prestige.
