The VIDIFI Youth Union Congress took place right after the VIDIFI branch was upgraded to the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union VIDIFI, which is a part of the Youth Union of the Vietnam Development Bank according to Decision No. 210 QD/DTNK-TCKT dated June 19, 2014 of the Central Enterprise Union.

Attending to congratulate and give a speech to direct the Congress, on the Vietnam Development Bank Youth Union side were comrade Ngo Quang Thinh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Development Bank Youth Union, Deputy Secretary of the Vietnam Development Bank Youth Union. On the side of the Corporation, there was Mr. Pham Van Bon - Member of the Standing Committee of the VIDIFI Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the VIDIFI Party Committee, Deputy General Director of VIDIFI; Comrade Tran Thi Tuyet - Member of the Standing Committee of the VIDIFI Party Committee and comrades who are representatives of Party Committees under the VIDIFI Party Committee, representatives of the Executive Committee of the VIDIFI Trade Union.

The Congress summarized and evaluated the Youth Union work of the Corporation for the 2013-2014 term, and set out directions and tasks for the Youth Union's work for the 2014-2017 term. At the same time, the Congress also received comments from newly established Branches of the VIDIFI Union to include in the next term's program of activities.

Representatives of the superior delegation and representatives of the Party Committee and the Corporation's Board of Directors gave their opinions and instructions to the Congress. The comrades encouraged the spirit, pointed out shortcomings that needed to be overcome, suggested some activities of the Union and promised to create more favorable conditions for the activities of the Union.

Comrade Bui Chinh Bac, on behalf of 05 comrades elected to the Executive Committee of VIDIFI Youth Union for the 2014-2017 term, promised to be determined to bring the intelligence, talent, and enthusiasm of youth to worthyly continue the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation, promote the glorious traditions of the Youth Union and generations of Vietnamese youth, VIDIFI youth today are determined to study, practice and follow the ideology and moral example of President Ho Chi Minh.
