VIDIFI Corporation took over Tien Cuu toll station

Implementing Decision No. 3630/QD-BGTVT dated December 4, 2009 of the Ministry of Transport on transferring the original status of Tien Cuu Toll Station to Vietnam Infrastructure Development and Financial Investment Corporation (VIDIFI), collecting fees to support the implementation of the Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway BOT project; Official Dispatch No. 5431/CDBVN-TC dated December 21, 2009 of the Vietnam Road Department on assigning Road Management Area II to carry out the handover of Tien Cuu Toll Station.

Accordingly, Road Management Area II and Road Management and Construction Joint Stock Company 234  handed over the entire Tien Cuu Toll Station to the Vietnam Infrastructure Development and Financial Investment Corporation starting at 0:00 on January 1, 2010.

Attending the handover ceremony were Mr. Tran Van Son - Deputy General Director of Road Management Area II, Mr. Nguyen Chi Cong - Deputy Director of 234 Management and Construction Joint Stock Company, Mr. Pham Van Bon - Deputy General Director of VIDIFI Corporation, Mr. Dao Quang Truong - Director of Hai Phong Bank for Development Branch, along with representatives of Tien Lang district government - Hai Phong and officials of Road Management Area II, Company 234, VIDIFI Corporation, Tien Lang toll station. Vietnam Infrastructure Development and Financial Investment Corporation still maintains the level of collection and management of toll collection according to the provisions of Circular 90/2004/TT-BTC dated September 7, 2004 of the Ministry of Finance guiding the collection, payment, management and use of road use fees.

Tien Cuu toll station is currently applying the "one stop" toll collection method. With this method, the driver only needs to stop once to buy and check tickets at the station gate cabin instead of the "two stops" method still in use at stations today.
