Attending the ceremony were Colonel Nguyen Trong Phuong - Deputy Director of Hai Phong City Police; Colonel Nguyen Binh Kien - Deputy Director of the City Fire Protection Police Department; Mr. Dang Van Tam - Deputy General Director of VIDIFI Corporation; along with police leaders of Hai An and Duong Kinh districts and Kien Thuy and An Lao districts, and representatives of the Traffic Police Department - Ministry of Public Security who are performing the task of ensuring traffic safety on the route.

The event took place in the context that the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway section passing through Hai Phong city has just officially been put into operation since June 20, 2015. The 22.7 km long route, running from the intersection of National Highway 10 to the intersection of Pham Van Dong street, was allowed by the State Acceptance Council to temporarily operate from May 27, 2015 and collect tolls from June 1, 2015 according to the actual number of kilometers traveled. After nearly a month of operation, vehicle traffic reached about 500 turns/day, absolutely ensuring traffic safety on the entire route.

According to the content of the signed Regulations, VIDIFI and Hai Phong City Police will establish a mechanism to regularly exchange information and documents between the two sides to serve the prevention and effective fight against acts of violating security and order and protecting property on the road. In addition, the two sides also closely coordinate in handling traffic accidents, rescue, overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and floods as well as propagandizing and disseminating road traffic laws on the route through Hai Phong city.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Trong Phuong requested the police of professional units and the police of districts where the highway passes through to fully organize and thoroughly grasp the content of the Regulations to each officer and soldier. At the same time, proactively advise and propose to local authorities measures to propagate and educate people to strictly comply with legal regulations on ensuring security and order, traffic safety and protecting facilities on the route. The police force is also required to actively support VIDIFI in performing well the work of ensuring security and order on the entire Hanoi - Hai Phong highway section passing through Hai Phong city.

The signing of the Coordination Regulation marks an important step, demonstrating VIDIFI's initiative in ensuring safety and security on the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway, contributing to improving service quality and protecting the rights of traffic participants.
