On December 29, 2010, the Vietnam Infrastructure Development and Financial Investment Corporation (VIDIFI) and Shandong Bridge and Road Group Co., Ltd. held a signing ceremony for construction package EX-8 of the Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway Project.

Attending and witnessing the signing ceremony were Mr. He Sheng - Second Secretary of the Economic and Trade Section of the Chinese Embassy, ​​Mr. Zhang Chun Lin - General Manager of Shandong Bridge and Road Group Co., Ltd., representatives of the consulting and supervision units, and the VIDIFI leadership.

The EX-8 construction package has a total length of 10 km, extending from Km81+300 to Km91+300, passing through An Lao and Kien Thuy districts of Hai Phong city.

The contract, valued at approximately US$110 million, was awarded to Shandong Bridge and Road Construction Group Co., Ltd.
