Lach Tray bridge is part of the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway project

On the afternoon of May 11, Vietnam Infrastructure Development and Financial Investment Corporation (VIDIFI) and the main contractor of EX-10 package, Namkwang Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. solemnly held a ceremony to join Lach Tray bridge under the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway project.

Attending the ceremony, from the working group of Hai Phong city, there were comrades: Duong Anh Dien, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council; Comrade Le Van Thanh, Chairman of the City People's Committee; Nguyen Dinh Bich, Vice Chairman of the City People's Council; Do Trung Thoai, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee and related agencies. On the investor side (VIDIFI) there is Mr. Dao Van Chien - Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Dang Van Tam - Deputy General Director. On the side of Korea Export-Import Bank Keximbank was Mr. Kim Jeong Seok - Chief Representative of the Bank in Vietnam. On the supervision consultant side is Mr. Anthony William Johnston - Project Director. On the Contractor's side, there are Mr. Kim Hee Do, Deputy General Director of Namkwang Group and Mr.  Jeong Weon, Project Director of Package EX10.

The Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway project is a key national transportation project. During the period of site clearance and construction, the project received a lot of attention and support from agencies from central to local levels, including party committees and authorities of Hai Phong city. Up to now, the 25km section from National Highway 10 to the intersection of Road 353 (Hai Phong City) has been basically completed and prepared to be put into operation.

Lach Tray Bridge crossing Lach Tray River, connecting Duong Kinh district with Dinh Vu industrial park is the last and largest bridge of the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway project, more than 1.2km long, 33m wide, 6 lanes. The bridge was started in 2010 and will be completely completed by the end of this year along with the entire Hanoi-Hai Phong expressway project.

Speaking at the Lach Tray Bridge merger ceremony, Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Van Thanh praised and praised the efforts of the project investor as well as the contractors trying to complete the work, ensuring the quality and progress of the project. He emphasized that the preparation to put the 25km section into operation and the integration of Lach Tray bridge is of great significance at a time when the city celebrates the 60th anniversary of Hai Phong's liberation; promoting the city's socio-economic development, opening up regional connectivity, especially connecting with Bach Dang bridge to Quang Ninh province. Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Van Thanh requested that investors and contractors proactively review items to ensure they meet new standards for operation to prevent traffic accidents.
