Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway Project: Tan Vien does well in site clearance work
Land clearance work is always a difficult problem... But Tan Vien - An Lao - Hai Phong has made efforts to quickly "solve" the problem of site clearance - resettlement (clearance - resettlement), contributing to speeding up the project progress.
The Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway Project (DA) is one of the few national key projects, with the Government prioritizing all conditions to speed up the construction progress to complete and put into operation from 2012. This is a very important project in the strategy to promote development of the "economic triangle" Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh. The project is also decisive for the prosperous future of the Port city.

Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway project
Part of this project runs along Tan Vien - An Lao with a total length of nearly 3 km. This is the first major project for the commune, so site clearance work in the area initially encountered many difficulties. But with the high consensus of the people and the enthusiasm of Tan Vien officials in the work of declaring, counting, documenting and approving compensation plans according to current regulations, difficulties are gradually removed. To date, site clearance work has been basically completed and no complaints have ever occurred. People highly agree with receiving compensation in accordance with the price bracket according to the current compensation policy (according to Decree 69/CP and Decision 130/2010 QD - People's Committee of Hai Phong City).
In order for the project to be implemented quickly and on schedule, on June 28, 2007, the People's Committee of An Lao district issued Decision No. 795/QD - People's Committee to establish a steering committee for project implementation and Decision No. 796/QD - People's Committee to establish a compensation and site clearance committee for the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway construction project. On March 12, 2010, Hai Phong City People's Committee had a meeting with relevant branches and units to discuss urgent solutions in site clearance and resettlement work.
Complying with the direction of the Government, the City and the People's Committee of An Lao district, Tan Vien have drawn up a specific plan to carry out the land clearance and resettlement task. Site clearance work is divided into 2 phases. Phase 1: Completed 100% release of agricultural land with a total area of 198,930.8 m2. Phase 2: release 11,896.9 m2 of residential land and hand over to the investor. To do this, Tan Vien People's Committee has propagated to each household so that they understand the importance and meaning of the project. And quickly resolve resettlement area land for people to leave. The project investor has pumped sand and leveled the resettlement area, creating all conditions for people to build houses.
Currently, the investor is focusing on speeding up the project progress and building infrastructure for the resettlement area such as drainage system, electricity, clean water... so that people can feel secure in moving to a new place.
