Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway project: Continue to accelerate the construction progress of EX9 and EX10 packages
On September 18, 2010, within the framework of the First National Development Bank Patriotic Emulation Congress, Vietnam Development Bank (NHPT) organized a working delegation to visit, inspect and check the construction progress of package EX9 and package EX10 of the Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway Project in Hai Phong.
The working group is a representative of typical, advanced and good people with good deeds from the Head Office, Emulation Cluster No. 2, Emulation Cluster No. 4 of the Vietnam Development Bank and Directors of some branches of Emulation Clusters No. 2 and No. 4.
At the construction site, the delegation listened to the contractor report on the progress of the construction packages.
For package EX9, which is the first construction package of the Project, borrowed from the German Reconstruction Bank, constructed by Son Dong Contractor, the contract value is 727 billion VND, disbursement reached 28%. Up to now, the contractor has completed the following tasks: organic peeling, backfilling; roadbed construction phase 1. The contractor has basically completed the work on the assigned site area.
However, currently we are facing some difficulties such as: adjusting the technical design, giving rise to a number of construction items; Difficulties in site clearance work at the end of the route; due to adjusting the location of the toll station at the end of the route and adjusting the location of underground sewers...

For package EX10, it is a Korean ODA loan package constructed by Korean contractor NamKwang with a total contract value of 1,898 billion VND, starting on November 2, 2009. As of August 30, 2010, 106 billion VND has been disbursed to the construction unit for the organic peeling item and backfilling with appropriate materials, reaching more than 50% of the contract value of the organic peeling package.
This is a package at the end of the route with very complex geology going through many swamps and swamps, so the construction work to handle weak soil faces many difficulties. In addition, site clearance work is still difficult, especially there is no ground to access the construction of Lach Tray bridge, greatly affecting the progress of the package. Currently, the contractor has completed the work of mobilizing personnel and is carrying out the following tasks: additional geological surveys, materials testing, building an overall schedule, preparing materials, mobilizing machinery and equipment, and constructing public service roads.
