Attending the ceremony on the Korean side was Mr. Kwon Sae Young - Ambassador of the Korean Embassy in Vietnam. On the Vietnamese side, there were Mr. Dao Van Chien - General Director of VIDIFI Corporation, representative of Vietnam Import-Export and Construction Company (VINACONEX), representative of Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade (Vietcombank), along with deputy general directors and leaders of departments under VIDIFI Corporation.

The Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway project is divided into 10 construction packages (from EX-1 to EX10) and 7 auxiliary packages (from EX-11 to EX-17). Project implementation has been urgently coordinated by VIDIFI and relevant parties.

Construction and installation package EX-2 is a bidding package under the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway construction project, with starting point: km6 + 200 (according to project schedule) in Cuu Cao commune - Van Giang district - Hung Yen province, ending point: km19 + 000 (according to project schedule) in Minh Chau commune - Yen My district - Hung Yen province, the road section has 7 bridges, including 03 bridges on the main route, 04 bridges on local roads over highways and 17 underground culverts.

Construction and installation package EX-2 is implemented with loan capital from the Vietnam Development Bank, organized in the form of international public bidding. Through pre-qualification results, VIDIFI Corporation selected 9 contractors from Korea and China. Summarizing the results of technical and financial evaluation, contractor Namkwang ranked first. The evaluation results were approved by the VIDIFI Board of Directors in Resolution No. 09/NQ-HĐQT dated March 25, 2010 on approving the results of contractor selection for the EX2 construction package of the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway project.

Currently, Namkwang is also the contractor constructing the EX-10 construction package for the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway.
